FinestCutz Dominican Barbershop
Custom walk-in queue and appointment management platform
FinestCutz runs ten barber chairs serving both scheduled appointments and walk-in customers. Xagonoft built a web-based check-in and queue system that keeps the barber rotation in one place and puts it on a screen everyone in the shop can see.

The challenge
With ten chairs in service, FinestCutz handles a constant mix of scheduled appointments and customers who arrive without one. Walk-ins were tracked by hand on a physical board at the front of the shop.
Every update to that board depended on someone remembering to make it. Staff had to work out which barber was up next and which customer belonged to them, and because the board was the only record, the rotation and the customer order could be read differently by different people.
What Xagonoft built
Xagonoft designed and built a custom web-based queue system for the shop floor. Customers check in when they arrive and indicate whether they are there for an appointment or as a walk-in.
Walk-in customers join an organized queue and are matched to the next available barber according to the rotation the shop already used — applied by the system rather than reconstructed from memory.
A television display in the shop shows the next available barber, the customer being called, and whether that customer is a walk-in or a scheduled appointment.
Self-service check-in
Customers identify themselves on arrival and indicate whether they hold an appointment.
One shared queue
Walk-ins enter a single ordered queue instead of a hand-written list at the counter.
Rotation-aware assignment
The next available barber is determined by the shop's established rotation.
Television queue display
The floor shows who is next, who is being called, and how that customer arrived.

The rotation stopped being something the team had to remember and became something the whole shop can see.
Operational impact
The queue now lives in one place instead of on a board that had to be maintained by hand. Staff and waiting customers read the same information from the same source.
Because the rotation is applied consistently by the system, the order in which barbers receive customers is easier to keep fair and easier to explain. Appointments and walk-ins move through one flow instead of two parallel ones, and customers can see where they stand while they wait.
